I’m still working on getting into my daily routine working from home. I am, by nature, a rather clean person. I find myself sometimes stopping for a cup of tea midday and suddenly wanting to clean the bathroom floors or wipe out the shelves in the fridge. This week I laid all of my house tasks out on the same planner I use for work and it’s helped a bunch.
Sunday - Clean both bathroom floors, Laundry, Recycle, Trader Joe’s, and Green Chicken chili. Just seeing it on the planner, knowing it’s coming up, allowed my brain to let it wait.
I woke up, cleaned the bathroom floors, and arrived at Trader Joe’s at 8:15 a.m. That’s the trick to Trader Joe’s in the bible belt. Go when everyone is at church. It’s the only time during the week that store isn’t packed. Plus you are in there shopping with your fellow degenerates. It’s a win win.
In a little over five hours I’ll have something warm and delicious to enjoy.

This week was emotionally challenging. This weekend even more so. Sometimes just having things in order and sticking to a routine can be that little push that keeps me going.
If you’re reading from the colder states hang in there. Hopefully the winter blast is on it’s way out.
